Betway is one of the most up and coming betting operators and they have announced this week that they have signed a deal to become title sponsors of the 2017 British Basketball All-Stars Championship. It is a very important deal that will give them a great boost of exposure. In addition, we should note that this will be the first time this event of an All Star Game will take place in Great Britain.
This event will showcase the best of British basketball talent. Eight of the UK’s top sides to compete over a total of 13 matches. Five players per team will take to the court in shorter-timed quarters with unlimited roll-on/roll-off subs, timeouts. Moreover, there will be a double-point powerplay to compete for record-breaking £100,000 prize fund. Including £20,000 for the eventual champions. The event will take place in the O2 Arena on the 24th of September. Additionally, it will be shown on SkySports, while it will be also broadcasted in 70 countries.
