ESports have been gaining a massive popularity for a while now and the same applies to their competitions. For example, in about 4 days, the Electronic Sports Global Tour (ESG) Tour will be held in Mykonos. And in this competition eight of the world’s best CS:GO teams, are battling for an impressive €200,000 in prizes, including €100,000 for the winner. So, it is rather expected that some of the greatest bookmakers were about to show their interest to… participate in this fest. The Esports authorities PvPRO recently created the ESG to offer specialist eGaming tournaments in unique locations around the world featuring the greatest players and teams in the sport.
Betway is a gaming operator which has been supporting the electronic sports. And for another time they will be the ones to sponsor an event like this. The previous sponsorship deal between the gaming operator and the ESports authorities was concluded at the end of August. It was then when the popular bookmaker teamed up with ESL Pro League.
Anthony Werkman, who is the Director of Marketing and Operations at Betway, commented on the deal. “We are thrilled to partner with PvPRO.com for the ESG Tour in Mykonos. We can’t wait to see how the world’s best teams perform in this unique and exciting tournament location next week. Our latest partnership is a continued sign of our commitment to the eSports industry. At the same time we look to become increasingly involved through team and competition sponsorship, backed up by our unique and exclusive live odds feeds into the broadcast. ”
On the other hand, Stamos Venios, who serves as the CEO of PvPRO Ltd, told. “We are very happy to partner with a brand that is fully committed to growing the industry with financial investment and broadcast innovation, as well as a strong focus on integrity. We expect fans of the Betway ESG Tour to appreciate what this partnership will bring to the table of what is an already strong product in the sector.”
