Ladbrokes Coral is one of the greatest gambling operators, if not the biggest, in the UK. That alone is enough to gain them another important commercial agreement. As it was announced, a media rights deal has been agreed between Ladbrokes Coral and The Racing Partnership (TRP). Moreover, it is a fact that this deal will take effect immediately. By this agreement, Ladbrokes Coral make sure that 3,820 betting shops in the UK and Ireland will show races from “15 Arena Racing Company” (ARC) owned racecourses and seven independent racecourses.
Also, Ladbrokes Coral will be the only one that has the right to show a full coverage of the South African races. Indeed, the news were extremely positive for the horse racing fans. Without any doubts, this agreement will help Ladbrokes Coral increase their profit, while it also raises the bar for their competitors. But the surprises will not end for the racing fans. Ladbrokes, Coral and Betdaq (which now operate under the same corporation), will also offer a TRP content streaming. That means that the three bookmakers’ customers will have the opportunity to access interviews, special videos and everything The Racing Partnership site offers you.
Jim Mullen, the Ladbrokes Coral CEO, was glad about the conclusion of the deal and commented on the agreement. «We are pleased to have struck a deal with The Racing Partnership which gives us a joint incentive to grow the sport. Horseracing is part of our heritage and, despite the vast choice of sports to bet on in the modern era, it remains a core product for our business. So it is a positive development that once again all our customers, in shops and online, can enjoy a full range of horseracing action.».
