The Global Gaming Awards took place at a ceremony in Las Vegas and they indeed were glamorous and successful. The new… kings were announced at every category, with twelve companies winning the prestigious accolades. The ceremony was attended by hundreds of industry professionals. All of them gathered to see who will be the industry’s best for this year. After months of nominating, shortlisting and judging, the winners were finally revealed. And of course, the awards provided the perfect way to kick-off this year’s Global Gaming Expo.
The first category was about the best Land- based operator and Wynn Resorts were the one to win this award. As for the best Digital Operator, for another time Bet365 was crowned as the greatest of the industry. The next category was the best Land – Based Product. IGT’s Cardless Connect was the one that has made the most significant impact on the land-based gaming industry in the past 12 months. The scoop for the Best Digital Product went to Evolution Gaming for the product Dream Catcher. The innovative and exciting product has taking the live gaming world by storm.
The award Customer Loyalty Program went to MGM Resorts for the program M life Rewards, while the best Digital Acquisition Program was won by LeoVegas Affiliates. Scientific Games was nominated as the best Land-Based Industry Supplier, while NYX Gaming Group won the adequate award about the best Digital Industry Supplier. The award Land-Based Gaming Innovation went to IGT for the game Sphinx 4D, while Betgenius was the one to win the Digital Gaming Innovation scoop for their eSports trading product. This year’s final Shortlist, which was about “Responsible Business”, included both land-based and digital companies. Sportradar was the winner at this category. Finally, Mr Morr Weizer from Playtech was the one to get the award for the best European Executive.
