QPR is going to take their partnership with 5050 Central and BD Sport Group to the next level. They are ready to launch their new look Hoops Lottery against Burton Albion at Loftus Road today. QPR is the second tier of the English football, at the Championship and is one of the heaviest name in it. The lottery will give QPR fans an opportunity to win cash prizes at all home games this season.
For all the supporters who want to enter the lottery, they will be able to do it by picking up tickets from sellers around the stadium before the game and at half-time. In addition, the fans of the London team who will decide to get tickets, will help in the London club’s charity work. QPR governance announced that all proceeds from the lottery will go towards the club’s charity QPR in the Community Trust. The new digital raffle fundraising platform allows multiple entries with only one ticket – so for example, you can have 20 entries for £10.
QPR is not the only club which has a lottery provided from 5050 Central. Four more English Football League club have been provided with 5050’s lottery, as the group looks to expand its UK footprint through the BD Sport Group.
We should also remind that William Hill entered a two year partnership with BD Sport earlier in the month, which saw BD Sport successfully provide an in stadia betting experience to supporters of numerous Premier League and Football League clubs in England.
Tony Warwick, who serves as BD Sport Group’s joint managing director, commented on the deal: “5050 Central and BD Sport are proud to be providing QPR and QPR in the Community Trust with this 5050 fundraising technology that will, in turn, translate into increased funding to support their initiatives.”
